Parked illegally daily and restricts access to my drivr

Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 10:56, Sun 1 December 2024

Sent to Reading Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6804295.

Cars park in the cul de sac every day either side of my drive as well as opposite meaning it’s dangerous for me to drive off my drive as no visibility either side

Updates

  • Cars specifically in the cul-de-sac of Heatherdean Close regularly park obstructing my drive way either opposite and/or on the left and right of my driveway making entering or exiting my driveway dangerous and or difficult as it is impossible to see clearly. The car pictured is owned by someone who doesn't even live on the street.

  • The situation is becoming worse each day. There are people parking outside my drive all the time, on the left, the right and opposite when my drive is on the narrowest part of the street. One individual does not even live on the street but lives in the next street (Poldark Place) and another parks on our street and then leaves to go to work/catch a bus. Other cars park parallel to other parked cars restricting access to the cul-de-sac completely. I have several photographs of all the cars and happy to share their registration details. The cul-de-sac should have double yellow lines as it dangerous.
