Each of the drains either side of the pedestrian crossing is blocked.

Reported via mobile in the Other Road Issues category by P Stewart at 15:28, Sat 30 November 2024

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6803913.

All these drains (about 5 of them) are full of leaves and mud. Every time it rains heavily, pedestrians, on each pavement near the crossing, get soaked by the pooling water on the road, which cannot drain away. One of the two drain covers nearest the bus stop makes a loud ‘clanking’ noise when a car goes over it (possibly not fitting well?) (multiply this by the number of cars passing by and it can be noisy at times!). PLEASE HELP - THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS!
