Tree overhanging at edge of car park

Reported via desktop in the Park Repairs category by Jennie Randall at 14:21, Wed 27 November 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6792165.

In Thornet Wood car park, at the exit where it meets the cycle track, a medium size tree has partially fallen down presumably due to the recent storms & is hanging precariously over the corner of the car park. It needs to be removed before it falls onto a car or person.

  • This tree has been inspected and is not considered to require remedial works at this time. Bromley will only undertake works to a tree for an identified health & safety or highway obstruction issue. The situation will be reviewed cyclically and any required action will be addressed within a future works programme.

State changed to: No further action

  • Your message is surprising as not long after I reported this tree, it was cut down and removed. Presumably this was done as it was indeed a health & safety matter as I had reported it to be.
