Many blocked road drains on High Street & Bridge Street in Witney

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6792153.

I live on Bridge Street & on 27th Nov 2024, I walked High Street & Bridge Street. I was extremely surprised to see so many of the road drains either blocked or filled with debris and why in such a flood prone area these are not monitored & regularly cleared.

    I took 14 photos of drains either completely blocked by either mud or debris or filled with leaves/debris on High Street & Bridge Street. The site was limited so would only upload 3 photos.

  • They have just cleared West End drains after I had ask for them to be looked at last year. Hopefully they clear all of these too!
