The rainwater is not draining away from the footpath so children accessing Welton St Mary's School via the rear entrance are either having to walk through the water or cross a very slippery patch of grass to get to school.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because an officer has attended the site after recent rainfall and the water seems to have drained away appropriately and therefore being no safety concern at this moment In time. If the problem happens again but in less extreme conditions then please report this to us and we will investigate the issue again. Thank you for reporting this matter.
