Reported via iOS in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 09:12, Wed 27 November 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6789985.

The drain is overflowing and the road is now flooded. Urgently need SLOW FLOOD signs put on road as cars are going too fast and creating issues for pedestrians and school children who are having to navigate the flooded road and dangerous car drivers

  • The drain is overflowing and the road is flooded again. Please provide an update as this happens every time it rains. Fix my street 🙏

  • This report is one of 5 on Fix my Street regarding the constant issue with the lack of capacity of the drains when it rains. This causes the drains to pop their covers and gurgle waste water down the road. This then floods the road and causes concern for children, walkers and residents. This report was opened on 27/11/2024 and nothing has been done. The other open reports are: 6933469, 7042229, 6933917 & 6933942. However there will be a history of closed reports over the last 3+ years. We all pay our council tax, and now we would like this investigated, the cause confirmed and then fixed. Please provide an update as it’s been 8weeks….

  • 24/02 Road is flooded from Dene Close to the Playhatch roundabout

  • 24/02 photos from lower down the road, closer to the Playhatch/Sonning roundabout. Dene Close drain causing flood water which is affecting property access and stopping pedestrians and school children accessing bus stops safely. This drain causes problems every time we have heavy rain.
