Large Oak trees of considerable height and breadth overhanging a public road , primary school and private property. Causing inconvenience, considerable loss of light and MOST URGENT a danger and risk to individuals ( including children) , and property. Provide a copy of the maintenance policy in relation to these 2 trees ( near the boundary of The Old School House) . With the size and location urgent attention is required to remove all dead or diseased material and removal of all overhanging limbs and or removal of the trees. The council is put on notice accordingly. It is not known how long the issue has been present but the adverse weather and recent events result in urgent attention being required.

We have assessed your enquiry and the tree needs to be inspected by a qualified arborist. Tree inspections are carried out in accordance with the Council’s Tree Management Strategy. Should the arborist’s report identify safety related work this will be programmed. We will provide a further update after the arborist’s inspection.
