Turning right onto Ivy Rd from Earlsway on the opposite side of the road there are recent repairs to speed bumps, next to the first speed bump there is a new Kerbed pavement ( chicane ) jutting out into the road with no reflecting bollard to indicate it’s presence in the dark. Last night at dusk I hit it nearly ripping the undercarriage of my car as it was difficult to see, especially from the angle I was approaching it from. It looked like a speed bump rather than a kerb, just like further down near the school there are three speed bumps abreast of each other.
