Blocked drainage

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6780468.

Every time it rains for a while the drains block both sides of the road. This causes people to suddenly try and avoid the water. Any pedestrians will get covered in water and the water usually gets to kerb height .

  • Once again today my husband got soaked by a passing car. Since we now have to walk this route to get to the train station there is no avoiding this and it needs to be fixed. It didn't even rain that much last night so there is definitely a fault here with the drainage.

  • Thank you for reporting the flooding caused by blocked gullies. We are aware of the situation and have initiated a reactive gully cleaning to address the blockage.
