This may on the surface appear to be a minor issue to car drivers, when it is actually preventing pedestrians and cyclists from using the shared use pavement. The pavement is slippery and therefor dangerous, if you come off your bike here your are likely o end up in a 50mph stretch of road, please lean it and fix the blocks rainwater drain, which causes this hazard.

Why does cycling and pedestrian infrastructure receive such a low level of importance? The pavement gets rendered completely unusable, the detour is about an additional 1 mile walk through a muddy and park, which is not safe after dark.

Zero feedback o my question as to why pedestrians and cyclists are seen as 2nd class citizens unworthy of usable infrastructure. This shared sue pavement is now once more a mud covered bog because the rainwater drain still hasn't been cleared. The money spent in clearing the pavement last year utterly wasted. This is unacceptable and yes, I am angry, people need to use this pavement as a safe route to work.
