Drains gullies blocked between 74 Oxford Road to 84 Road

Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain / Gully category by david hebden at 16:25, Sun 24 November 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6777564.

Due to blockages water is not draining away. 78 Oxford Road, Bodicote. The water accumulates, floods the pavement. This then runs off my drive and into my garage. The is causing anxiety and damage. This is now a regular occurrence, and fourth time in recent months. I have emailed the council, twice! The drain outside my house is blocked and has a usual trap - slab… The other drains either side are blocked with…. I would hope for and appreciate a speedy resolution. One caused by exceptional rain. The others just poor servicing and neglect.

  • Your investigation appears to be taking longer than you suggested. The additional photos highlight my drain and the adjacent drain. Clearly highlighting an issue. Please suggest a timescale when this will be investigated. I remember something would be done? My neighbour has had a couple of communications, but I have received nothing. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards David Hebden
