Blocked gullies

Reported via mobile in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 10:39, Sun 24 November 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6775909.

This has been reported by me several times with nothing done about it. There are 2 blocked gullies on the left side coming out of the village which cause flooding when there's lots of prolonged or heavy rain. The water will flood most of the carriageway and can't be seen, especially in the dark because it's on a corner. Traffic needs to cross to the other side of the road and then this causes an issue with traffic travelling from the Watlington direction. Pleae clear these asap

  • Reporting on this issue yet again because nothing has been done about it. There are blocked gullies here and it casues sufficient flooding after heavy rain. The water will flood across the road and as it's on a bend entering the village from Watlington, it can't be seen by approaching traffic. Traffic driving out of the village towards Watlington needs to avoid this flood by using the other side of the road. There's going to be an accicent before long. I have reported on this many times and nothing has been doing. It's been under 'investigating' for months!
