Large pot hole caused fall

Pothole full of snow/water when fall happened to my husband when walking our dog. No way to see it as full of water etc. and oncoming cars gave no room to go round it anyway as they were doing more than 20mph. Husband badly opened skin on one kneecap and bruised the other as well as twisting ankle. Hope is right by white gates at entrance to village mid way between junctions for Quarry Cottages and Water Lane.
