Poor road surface

This section of road has been getting worse over the last few months, most damage probably caused by heavy dustbin lorries. Bad enough driving over it, never mind cycling, and worse in the dark and rain. Fix the area rather than keep patching it over as can be seen.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 62 days.

A works order has been raised which you can follow on 6769015 and add updates. The expected completion date for these works will be 23/05/2025.
