There is a very overgrown spiky bush growing from tree , and roots

Reported via desktop in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 11:27, Thu 21 November 2024

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6767433.

Outside our property, 25 Kechill Gdns BR2 7NG, there is a very sharp spiky bush growing from tree, in the summer it had leaves on, and obstructed the pavement, now the spikes are showing it is a danger and needs pruning, also there is a large tree lifting the pavement outside of our property, I have tripped over it getting out of my car a few times, it's a danger and i'm worried about the damage the roots are causing to my property, Thanks for your attention

  • Our contractors have been issued a job to remove the basal growth from the pear tree. If you believe a Council-maintained tree is causing (or has caused) damage to your property, then you will need to complete a claim form. Bromley currently have a shared Insurance Service with Sutton Council. An online claim form can be completed and submitted via Sutton’s website: https://www.sutton.gov.uk/ info/ 200436/ customer_services/ 1146/ insurance_service/ 2

Please carefully read the full extent of the information required when making a direct claim against the Council. You may also wish to contact your own homeowner’s insurance for advice and guidance.
