Broken kerb

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 12:17, Wed 20 November 2024

Sent to Richmond upon Thames Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6763619.

Kerb was broken with a previous tree removal however was never repaired with kerb, just a sideways slab which has sunk, no longer alingned and broken down one end causing the tarmac to break up. It’s become dangers and a trip hazard especially now with darker evenings

Updates

  • It’s not broken, there is kerb missing and it’s dangerous but I’m not old it’s fine. Can someone please advise where I send a claim for the injury and fall this caused in the dark covered by leaves. I’ve proof if an actual kerb was there, not missing and replaced with a broken slab, it would have been unlikely to get the hairline fracture. I’d also like to know why there is a refusal to make safe, the same as every other house along the road has outside there’s and why I am being victimised? Everyone else can safely walk outside their house and I cannot

  • Kerb is missing leaving a gap, that covered by leaves is extremely dangerous. The missing kerb- gap, space where kerb should be needs replacing or safety signs added to warn of the danger
