Contacted your department on Tuesday because of an urgent issue we had incurred. The reason for contact is because the gulleys along the verges on the opposite side of Clifton Road to our house - Oak Lodge - were spilling out excess rainwater and it was flooding across the road and into our driveway and had entered our garage

Reported via mobile in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 10:14, Tue 19 November 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6759173.

The torrential rain on 23 September caused significant damage inside our house which is Oak Lodge, diagonally opposite the two gulleys on the other side of Clifton Road. Both gulleys were completed blocked and the rain water coming off the fields and the gulleys had nowhere to go but across the main road and down into our driveway! We urgently need someone to come out and have a look to see how we can remedy the problem and avoid it happening again. My neighbour had the same issue and this is purely down to draining or lack of it.
