King Street, Northwich to Middlewich direction

Reported via iOS in the Permanent Traffic Lights category by Paul Thorn at 08:26, Tue 19 November 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6758611.

One traffic light flattened and damage to railings (again!) which I can only assume was caused by a lorry missing the correct turn and then making a tight illegal turn and flattening one of the traffic lights. Has also caused extensive damage to the railings. I have seen this happen on numerous occasions and feel that this junction needs to be replanned. It’s very tight for a lorry to make this turn. Especially northbound towards Northwich. Please don’t take as long to repair this as It took to repair the lights in town recently. We feel like the forgotten poor neighbours despite the vast amount of council tax we pay.
