Footway on left side of B5341 (Chester Road), towards Acton, at 1st entrance to Dorfold Hall fields

Reported via mobile in the Flooding category anonymously at 17:22, Sun 17 November 2024

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6753697.

Repeatedly reported to bith CEC and United Utilities (UU). UU confirm it is not their manhole cover, but is a fully blocked surface drainage service point. CEC confirmed responsibility over 12 months ago and 'promised' to have it jet flushed under a special tasking. However, no jet washing was completed despite recent road closures to facilitate road works near Monks Lane (Acton). This floods and pours down slope to flood adjacent junction on Waterlode/Taylor Drive Traffic Light junction, at every occasion of even light rain.
