Verge not cut far enough up
Reported via mobile in the Grass category anonymously at 10:45, Sun 17 November 2024

I understand you do one grass cut a year and it seems to have happened this weekend in Somerton . The verge in the photograph has not been cut far enough up to our fence, neither was it last year which means that by the spring/ summer the nettles, brambles and ivy are uncontrollable and they are invading our garden and any bushes and plants we have near the perimeter . Please can you come back and cut the whole verge so this does not happen and we do not have to continually cut our hedges because of invading brambles , nettles and ivy from the bank . This needs cutting more than once a year . It needs a second cut in the summer . This used to happen regularly and we didn’t have this big issue with invasion from the grass bank . Last summer the bank wasn’t cut at all and it made it very hard for motorists to see driving around a very sharp bend . Thank you
