Every time it rains the crossing and the gutters either side overflow. To cross on the crossing it is necessary to paddle through a large puddle of water, the mud makes it very slippery. The problem is because the storm drain is blocked with grass going over it and there is mud and other debris in the gutter. This crossing has a lot of use because of its location. People tend to cross the road either side of the crossing to avoid the large puddles. Also if you have the misfortune to be walking past when a car comes round the corner there is a risk of being drenched with dirty muddy water which I have witnessed.
