Manhole filled in and now we can't access external stopcock

Reported via desktop by Simon Paul Jenkins at 16:06, Fri 15 November 2024

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6748836.

2 years ago when the streetlight outside our house was fixed, the workers filled in the manhole. This manhole was the access point for the external stopcock for our house. We do not have an internal stopcock. Therefore, if there is a leak in our house, we have no way to shut off the water. We now need you to come and give us an external stopcock, either a new one or by opening the hole so the old one can be accessed.

  • You can see the area that was filled in. We think our manhole was there. We have no way of shutting off the water supply if there's a leak
