Inadequate road markings
Reported via iOS in the Road Marking category anonymously at 23:49, Wednesday 13 November 2024
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6728988.
Daily at 3.20 there is chaos due to lack of road markings and enforcement. Cars sit with engines oolong for 20-30 mins Cars double park or pool ark blocking turnings and corners
It is evident that the public cannot self regulate and needs enforcement. Can the roads be restricted during peak times as the council has done in other areas near schools? What is the criteria for acting?

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.State changed to: Internal referral
