Overhanging vegetation, blocking light

Reported via desktop in the Private Tree overhanging highway category anonymously at 22:10, Wednesday 13 November 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6728722.

I have previously reported that this tree is overhanging the lamp and blocking its light. The light has now been fixed but the vegetation is still blocking light. The council advised me that this tree is on Network Rail land and not the council's responsibility, and I was advised to report it to Network Rail, which I did. Network Rail have now investigated and maintain that the tree is NOT on their land, and NOT their responsibility. As the vegetation, in any case, overhangs the public highway, I believe the council should look at this. Please investigate. Network Rail's reference is: 241107-000000 Thank you
