This part is very over grown causing us 5homes loosing out light in our home and restricting our view and also having to cut I back wen covering the walk way and causing rats and foxing to nest with in

Thank you for your enquiry. This issue has been separately been reported to us, which for the raised bed opposite 72-80 Petten Grove, Idverde are investigating the pruning of the shrubs and works are raised from the Tree team to remove self-set wrong location for species trees. Please note that as outlined in our Tree Management Strategy (tree-management-strategy-2023-to-2027 (bromley.gov.uk) the Council will not prune trees in relation to the following: • Obstruction of view: there are no rights associated with maintaining trees in accordance with maintaining views in British law
• Lack of light: there is no ‘Right to light’ (or shade) in British law.
