Temporary Fencing overhanging footpath

Reported via mobile in the Utility Works and Temporary Traffic Lights category anonymously at 18:26, Wednesday 13 November 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6728106.

Following the wall repairs, the metal fencing along the footpath has come adrift and is overhanging the footpath, at present almost at head height. Seems that the top bracket is missing, and there is a discarded TV and other framework a few metres along, in the hedge.

  • FixMyStreet ref: 6728106. It would seem that someone had attended to the problem, but yesterday (Wed 20th) the fence is now hanging even more. In my humble opinion it is because the panels are not tethered to each other and the bases at the wrong angle.
