Urgent Request to Repaint Faded Road Marking at Queens Lane Junction

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 12:56, Wednesday 13 November 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6726521.

Dear Council Team,

I am reporting a faded road marking at the junction where Queens Lane meets Queen Street. The marking—a long horizontal line with two short vertical lines at each end—signals that the entrance to Queens Lane must be kept clear. However, cars, particularly those parking near the Queens Head pub, often miss this marking and obstruct the turn into Queens Lane. This causes significant difficulties for both residents and commercial vehicles needing access, as parked cars on Queen Street reduce the available turning space.

Could the line be repainted as a priority to improve access and prevent further obstruction?

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
