New St Canal Rd junction
Reported via iOS in the Slurry or Mud on the Highway category anonymously at 22:14, Tue 12 November 2024
Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6724524.
The grid is blocked by the debris carried down the road during rain as the grids up stream are blocked and have been for 3 (three) years the amount of slurry carried down can’t be accommodated by the grid and thus it fills resulting in a large puddle snowing Canal St into a real Canal The jetting truck was in the area but they only jet the drains that are not block which is a bit strange or is the easy life The condition of the drains in Congleton is a disgrace but hardly surprising as the council love wasting money I guess even more savings required to raise the money to pay the fine £500k imposed under the H&S act recently Just shows how ignoring maintenance can tragically cost lives
