Parking

Reported via iOS in the Car parking category anonymously at 20:25, Mon 11 November 2024

Sent to Milton Keynes Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6720497.

Parking problems in Radcliffe street Wolverton mk12, regular problem with cars parking illegally on double yellow lines, causing horrendous traffic problems with buses trying to travel along Radcliffe street and cars trying to enter Radcliffe street from Stratford Road, it’s a regular sight to see cars parked right up to the junction of Stratford Road, which leaves the junction completely unusable and creates a bottle neck. The double yellow lines are worn out and need repainting and enforcement needs to be increased to stop this problem

  • Continuous problem causing dangerous encounters for road users trying to turn into Radcliffe street from either church street and Mir problematic from Stratford Road end as this is a busy road where road users have to negotiate pedestrian crossings and a busy junction turn entrance to Lidl. Parking on double yellow lines is ignored on a daily basis. The yellow lines need repainting.

  • No change, only this morning I challenged 2 drivers about parking in this location, one said “yes I know, thank you”. ?? Another said “why?” Still a long line of cars blocking the side of the road nearest to the takeaway, hair salon and halal food shop.
