  • Thank you for your enquiry.

This is currently being investigated via another Fix My Street enquiry - https://fix.bromley.gov.uk/ report/ 6690198.

During our investigation of the area, we identified a potential failure at the reported location. We have referred this issue to the relevant utility company, as it appears that their apparatus may be responsible.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates through the original report referenced above. As this report is a duplicate, it will now be closed.

  • Thus issue has not been fixed. There is still a significant dip in the road

Posted anonymously at 18:18, Fri 13 December 2024

  • It’s unclear who assessed this as ‘fixed,’ but the road remains visibly and significantly dipping. While the sinkhole has been filled, the quality of work is questionable at best. It’s difficult to understand how any reputable contractor could conclude this as a job well done.

I understand that temporary traffic control incurs costs, but perhaps leaving it in place a bit longer to properly address the root cause of the problem, rather than filling it with inadequate materials, would have been a more effective approach.

This is not resolved and will only worsen if not properly addressed.
