Road/verge badly damaged sliding towards drainage ditch
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 17:17, Monday 11 November 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6719906.
The road edge at this location has been badly damaged over time by heavy vehicles and exacerbated by the recent flooding in September which has washed the top surface of the road away leaving a deep long hole at the side of the road. In addition the verge at this location is now sliding in towards the drainage ditch which has flooded recently causing significant damage to nearby properties. I note there has been another report re this with photos. This needs urgent action to prevent further flooding and/or an accident due to the uneven road surface.
