Loose/rattling cover/ironwork problem
Reported in the Loose/rattling cover/ironwork category by Gloucestershire County Council at 14:26, Monday 11 November 2024
FixMyStreet ref: 6719047.
FMS 6711924. Persistent blockages on Townsend Street drainage. there were significant problems with drainage at this location during the September flash floods. Lots of leaves blow into the road from the Honeybourne Line leaving litter and debris that compounds into drainage gratings.
Similarly it feels as though there is insufficient drainage mechanisms in place - the two drains get overwhelmed quickly from surface water running in from Swindon Road and along Townsend. Please would it be possible to install more drains and clean the existing ones
