Manhole cover is getting loose

Dear Sirs, I would like to report a drainage manhole cover issue/noise (on Middleton Stoney Road), which is right in front of our house. Each time a car drives over the cover it makes noise and since this road is quite busy we hear this noise 24hrs a day. It’s been going on for quite some time now and becoming a nuisance. We hope that something could be done about it. I have made a couple of videos to demonstrate the noise each time a car passes by but cannot attach it here. If you require any further info, please let me know. Thank you

  • Thank you for your report. After inspecting the area, we’ve determined that the damaged apparatus is owned by a utility company. we’ve initiated a Section 81 notice to inform the responsible utility company, urging them to address the issue promptly.
