Commercial Bins on Pavement all weekend
Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 12:29, Mon 3 August 2015
Sent to Lambeth Borough Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 671010.
On both sides of Tradescant Road commercial bins have been placed on the public pavement, not only causing am obstruction but attracting the dumping of other waste on and around the bins. The residents of Tradescant Road go to great efforts to keep their street tidy and make sure their own bins are only on the pavement on the days of collection - why can't the commercial bin users doe the same!

This is probably more of a highways issue as the council will simply be providing waste collection on a commercial basis (just as might Veolia or Biffa), and the real problem is obstruction of the public highway.
Hopefully it will find its way to the right department.

Thank you for your report, I have requested an inspector visit the area and speak to the properties concerned about their commercial waste bins blocking pedestrian access. The reference number for this is 395590.
