Pot hole in road
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 12:38, Friday 8 November 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6709418.
This pothole has been here for several weeks and although it is in the middle of the road, due to the parked cars on the right hand side with the pub on the left, cars are forced to drive into it and physically cannot avoid it. It is also getting bigger where people are trying to avoid it causing the edges to crumble away.

The first photo is to try and show the location. The Elephant and Castle pub is on the left at the start of Chapel Street and Bloxham School’s hall is on the right. I have circled the pothole in relation to the locations named above. The second and third photos are of the pot hole(s). It was initially just one but as you can see, another is opening up closest to the parked car where people are trying to avoid the original. The width between the two is getting smaller every week.
(Apologies the photos are not the best, I took them as a passenger in a car as I’ve just had hip surgery. If they’re not good enough, let me know and I’ll get someone to walk there to take a better photo.)
