Road surface anomaly - Caversham Park Road

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category by Paul W at 16:46, Wednesday 6 November 2024

Sent to Reading Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6702439.

Subsidence of the road surface above the pedestrian subway has been progressively increasing. It causes vehicles to jolt significantly as they pass over in either direction. This is probably barely noticeable to truck drivers, or heavy cars with soft suspension, but in a lighter car with hard suspension it causes passenger discomfort, necessitating significant speed reduction, and thus annoyance/conflict with vehicles following. Can rectification, which would seem to be simple, be carried out in the near future?
