Car park being used by commercial vehicles

Reported via Android in the Car parks (only council run ones) category anonymously at 13:25, Tuesday 5 November 2024

Sent to Cherwell District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6697183.

The KEA car park is currently being used as an overnight car park for commercial vehicles. The people who drive these vehicles turn up with there car and then leave in the commercial vehicle at all hours day and night. When the Saturday football is on, these vehicles are taking up spaces causing the parking overflow onto the residential road adjoining. They are now starting to leave rubbish like pallets on the path.

Updates

  • Council don't want to deal with it as it's classified as Private land yet the council own the field. But not the carpark. When questioned about the environmental status of the drains I was phobbed off to the local water company, nothing to do with the site's requirements or procedures in place.
