Overgrown Hedges
Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 19:36, Mon 4 November 2024
Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6694592.
Overgrown Hedges are making this footpath almost impassable.
To get to the shop in Ferring with my Grandchildren I have to cross Goring Way before Sea Lane. Cross again across Sea Lane and the cross Goring Way again to access the shops. It is IMPOSSIBLE to pass the overgrown hedges with the children; as they would have to walk single file. You cannot take a pushchair or wheelchair past the hedges. They are overgrown by at least 2 feet

There has been no progress in cutting back the overhanging hedges. It’s still dangerous to pedestrians.
