Awful road condition

Sent to Reading Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6692388.

Friar Street road surface is worsening by the week, it is uneven and potholed and has reached a point today that I feel is unsafe. I cycled along it earlier today and had to swerve around so many holes and uneven patches, it’s a danger. I’m surprised no one as come off their push bike there. It needs urgent attention.

  • The very top of the street has had a patch resurfaced last week, the rest of Friar Street remains potholed and bumpy, like the surface of some distant planet, and still seems unsafe to me as a cyclist.
