Cars blocking pavement

Reported via iOS in the Pavements/footpaths category by Phillip Brookes-Lennon at 09:25, Mon 4 November 2024

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6691334.

Over the last 6 months this has become a massive issue of cars constantly parking here on double yellow lines.

It is blocking the footpaths from wheelchairs and prams, buses go up and down this route and it’s difficult for them to get past and it’s damaging the pavement causing potential hazards to pedestrians

Can more traffic wardens be deployed or bollards like further down into the village by the Tesco?

Updates

  • It is continuous and nobody is doing anything about it. Busses can’t pass not just cars and as this image shows you struggle to walk past and if you’re with a pram or in a wheel chair you’ll never get past

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Inconsiderate drivers parking in the cycle lanes and pavements on Breck Road. In the past I have nearly been knocked over by a car mounting the pavement to park by Sedley & Breck Road. Closer frequent monitoring is required.
