Sent to Cherwell District Council 2 minutes later

There are a number of trees between my house and the canal footpath which have grown very large and are causing me some concern. Firstly, the trees block out the sunlight from my garden, but more importantly I fear some of them could fall onto my house if subjected to strong winds. Would it be possible to have these trees removed, or at least greatly reduced in size?

  • I had a visit from a council representative who agreed that the bushes in question should be cut back and he suspected that the contractors employed to do this work were not carrying out their duties to the councils requirements. He promised to look into the matter when he returned to his office but so far the there has been no action on the bushes.
