Feeding Seagulls
Reported anonymously at 08:37, Tue 28 July 2015
Sent to Great Yarmouth Borough Council and Norfolk County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 668189.
Brasenose Avenue, opposite junction with Fastoffe Avenue.
At least people from 4 dwellings are feeding seagulls bread and scrapings from dinner plates. This is happening on communal grass greens, not in private gardens.
The birds dive bomb the area cause a lot of noise and leave droppings.
I am concerned that any food left will cause rats.

I quite agree. These people need to be educated.

I also agree that "Seagulls" where here long before people where. typical do goodies. If the food waste was scattered on a field; There would not be a problem for do goodies.

People need to be educated that throwing food out also encourages vermin... so don't do it. Seagulls can find their own food naturally, like they have done for millions of years.
