Phasing problems

Sent to Reading Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6681484.

Lights not phasing properly. Only allowing 2 seconds for traffic coming from university direction. For some reason the CCTV on this junction is pointing towards the ground allowing the council control room to ignore the issue.

    The traffic light continues to cause significant delays by allowing only two cars through per green light cycle, unnecessarily holding up traffic even when there is no opposing flow. This malfunction leads to delays of up to 15–20 minutes, which is unreasonable and causes congestion and frustration for road users.

    This is now the second time I am reporting this issue, and I am disappointed that no corrective action has been taken so far. I urge you to investigate and resolve this problem as soon as possible to restore proper traffic flow and prevent further inconvenience.
