Pot hole wider that 150mm in diameter
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:05, Thursday 31 October 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6680995.
I had a response stating that: "We have concluded our assessment and closed this report, as this issue has now been resolved. Kind regards State changed to: Investigation complete."
This issue has NOT been completed or even marked for repair.
The pot holes are wider than 150mm and in a line against the edge of the single track road.
All URGENTLY need filling and edging with an bitumen/oil sealant; in order to stop freeze thaw and the pot hole needing to be re-done.
It is disappointing that this was not deemed suitable for repair before as it did meet the criteria of being wider that 150mm.
These pot holes are causing severe daily problems for all road users; being pedestrians, cyclists and car drivers. HGVs are also assisting in creating a wider and deeper pot hole for you to fill in and properly seal in order to stop deterioration in all weathers; which in turn will reduce jobs for you to come out and remedy again. Thank. you.
