Excessive speed on A40

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6672437.

There is excessive speeding on the A40 through Milton Common, the fixed 40mph warning sign by the highways depot triggers nearly every car in the mornings when pedestrians - including children walking to the school bus, are using the pathway inches away from car & HGVs.

  • Thank you for raising this enquiry with us. Apologies for the delay in response. We are investigating the area and will make any repairs to existing signage found necessary. We would also however suggest that you raise these concerns with Thames Valley Police as they are responsible for enforcement of the existing speed limit.
