On the green, between houses of Ennerdale ave

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 13:11, Sat 25 July 2015

Sent to Carlisle City Council 4 minutes later

Someone have had a fire, on the green. The debris needs to be removed, Notices up to remind the public of it is hazardous to build a fire, close to trees and property, and alarming for all wildlife ! Also, on another issue, it would be a huge benefit, to all, if there were some litter bins. More to the point "dog waste", both on the green and more in the local park.

  • Thank you for your comments . Riverside will have the fire remnants removed and will reinstate the ground. Thanks for your comments about the problem with dog fouling in this area. I believe there are some signs but additional signs and dog bins would be useful. I will see if funding for this can be made available. thankyou.

  • To-day, Saturday 1st August 2015. I would like to log , that fly- tipping has occurred. There is what seems to be a duvet and a pair of bright pink leggings, in close proximity of the reported remains of the fire, by the trees before the footpath, on the green. Also, I would appreciate at least 1 general waste bin on the green, before my front garden and leading to green footpath becomes strewn with litter. Many thanks.
