Overgrown trees causing blockages to roof valleys and gullies

The London Plane trees in conduit Road are causing the residents severe problems this summer . due to the high winds and dry conditions all our gutters and roof valleys have filled with crumbled dried leaves which have caused water ingression during flash rain storms. These trees were pollarded regularly during the eighties and nineties but for some years now they have been allowed to rise in height with just a few branches (thinned) instead of being pruned back. They are now touching the telephone wires, roofs and hanging down to head height. Please could someone from the Highways dept come and look at the situation under which we all suffer sweeping up and filling bags with dried leaves almost every day.
