Vandalised Electric box

Reported by Customer Services at 11:07, Tue 21 July 2009

Sent to Bassetlaw District Council and Nottinghamshire County Council 2 minutes later

We have received an email today reporting that the electric box has been vandalised. Please see below the email we received.

Dear Bassetlaw Council

I’m not sure who should deal with this issue.

Whilst walking my dogs yesterday I noticed that the electricity station on Ashes Park avenue (located on the left hand side as you walk in the direction of the A60) has been broken into.

There is a hand sized hole in the left hand door marked ‘Danger Electricity’. A person could put their hand through this hole, or insert an object such as a can, stick etc. Clearly this is a hazard and as children play next to this site during the evening (and more likely now it’s holidays), it needs to be repaired.

Can you please make the relevant company aware of this issue? I’m not sure who the electricity company responsible for this installation site is.
