Need for shared cycle/pedestrian path

Reported via desktop anonymously at 10:32, Fri 25 October 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6657110.

I cycle to work and am pregnant so trying to go the safest route. Google maps takes me on this path to get from Hanham to the river path to get into town. I was verbally attacked by a pedestrian for taking my bike on this path, can it be made into a shared pedestrian/cycle path. I just want to get to work in one piece without being hit by a car or abused by a pedestrian.

The alternative route down Conham hill has no cycle lane and cars wizz down the hill which feels very unsafe for a cyclist.
