Unauthorised access to / exit from ring road

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 16:25, Thu 24 October 2024

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6654910.

At the rear of 37 Eastern Road. NR7 0UJ the occupier has, at the bottom of the rear garden, erected fencing and gates to ring road. The gates are used to access a builders yard for the occupier's construction business. This means that vehicles are stopping on Ring Rd causing an obstruction but also crossing the footpath ,going in and out, where there is no dropped kerbing. This is hazardous for pedestrians and cyclists. You have now been warned of the hazard and if you do nothing and an accident happens here, then NCC will have to explain why.
